The Upper Trevisan March, the area north of Treviso, is famed for its DOC Prosecco. This hilly countryside with its mild climate and ancient wine-making traditions provides the ideal habitat for the vines that produce the delicious white wine famed throughout the world.
The “Strada del Prosecco e dei Vini dei Colli” (Prosecco Road) meanders through Conegliano and Valdobbiadene passing hamlets, medieval castles, old hermitages, gently rolling hills and rows of vines as far as the eye can see.
Along the route you will pass the leading local wineries where you can visit the cellars and taste local proseccos, as well as the many delicious food specialities from the Treviso area.
